The Factories

This factory is probably the largest blasting and coating facility in the UK; it has an internal operational space of over 135,000 sq ft made up of 4 Bays and offers an external storage space of 22,000 sq ft.  Cranage capacity in Bay 1 comprises 1 No 3 tonne and Bay 2 has 1 No 7.5 tonne, Bay 3 has 2 No 25 tonne gantry cranes, whilst Bay 4 has 2 No 10 tonne gantry cranes.  These are complemented by adequate forklift support.

This factory has 2 blasting booths; the one in Bay 4 being 21 m x 8 m x 6 m high and Bay 3 dimensions are 30 m x 8 m x 8 m.

In addition to the above, the Foxhills factory is heated by a 4 MW biomass boiler system capable of maintaining temperatures to ensure compliance with most specifications and any inclement weather.  Our electricity is generated by 0.80 MW of solar panels.

This facility is supported by extensive mobile plant such as forklifts, side loaders and MEWPs, with the additional benefit of our own 44 tonne articulated lorry and trailers.

This facility has 3 goliath cranes, with a singular lifting capacity of 25 tonnes and a combined lifting capacity of 55 tonnes if required.  These cranes service the incoming stockyard, the factory areas and outgoing stockyard.

The site consists of an area of 5.5 acres and has some 36,200 sq ft of main workshop area with a blast booth measuring 26 m x 5 m x 5 m.  In addition to this there are ancillary buildings housing a metal spray booth of 22 m x 9 m x 6 m, paint stores, 4 No heater houses with 150 KW oil fired heaters, offices and fitting shops.  The extensive yard area allows us to offer the additional service of storage.
