Apprenticeship News

Jack Tighe Ltd are currently celebrating the achievements of our first intake of apprentices, after all 7 candidates successfully passed their Industrial Coatings Applicator end point assessment with distinction.

In the week commencing 10 August 2020, the Apprentices completed their practical assessments and professional discussions at our training facility in Scunthorpe (see below).

The Apprentices will now embark upon a one-year mentoring period. On completion of the training and mentoring, Apprentices can apply for their full ICATS card, including the blasting and spraying modules, from Correx (The Institute of Corrosion).

Our second intake of Apprentices are progressing well and are now 10 months into their programme. Following the success of the Apprenticeship Scheme to date, we are now actively recruiting candidates for our third intake of Apprentices due to start in October 2020.
